St. Luke’s Braillists
For over twenty years, Christ Church has been printing Braille Hymnals and sending them to churches and individuals.
Although we have printed and mailed hundreds of hymnals in that time, we have not sold any in 2006. Computers and tapes have decreased the demand for the printed word; however, we still print enough 1982 hymnals to cover orders.
Our English Hymnal is a familiar blue-bound book in our pew racks. A Braille Hymnal comes in fifteen volumes packed in five boxes. We provide a plastic binder so that a blind person can take only the sheets of music necessary for a particular service.
As the only source of Braille Hymnals in North America we enjoy providing this service..
