Stephen Ministry at Christ Church
Stephen Ministry is a Jesus centered caring ministry. This one-on-one caring ministry is done by selected and extensively trained members of our congregation. The caring relationships are confidential and offer support to those who are experiencing a burden in their lives.
Burdens such as…
Loneliness...divorce...the loss of a loved one...unemployment...childbirth...the struggles in our lives that we need someone to walk beside us to overcome.
Stephen Ministers…
Receive 50 hours of training in how to provide distinctly Christian care.
Participate in on-going supervision and continued education.
This prepares them to provide confidential care...listen...share...pray...and support those in need.
